Three Cliffs Bay is reputed to be one of the most beautiful bays in Britain, and by all accounts it is, but to see it you have to work at it,as it's only accessible by foot, and if you have arrived by car your options are to park at the very small car park on the main A4118 road near Penmaen or book into the Three Cliffs Bay Camping Caravan Site just off the same main road. Its such a shame that there is no access road to it, but maybe in a way thats fine because this beach can seem pretty popular at times, one wonders how so many people manage to get to the beach. It is especially good for families with children as it has shallow streams of water running along it, a cave, plenty of interesting walks, lovely sandy beaches and a partly sheltered exposure. It even manages to attract climbers to its "3 Cliffs" landmark. This beach is one of those that you must visit at least once in your lifetime.
