Port Eynon

Port Eynon is another popular beach, although pebbly and has found favour with visiting tourists, caravanners and campers.
Port Eynon is also is the last beach you wiil find on the A4118 road from Killay Swansea, quite important because you can at least transport a caravan without encountering too many road restrictions as compared say to Llangennith.
There are two campsites of note in this area, the one right next to the beach is the Carreglwyd camping and caravan park next to the beach and public car park ,and the other one at the top of the hill leading into Port Eynon village (and easier to get in and out of) is the larger Newpark Holiday Park which as well as catering for caravans and campers also operates holiday chalets (privately owned).

Below left is the view from the car park looking left across Port Eynon Bay.
Below right is the view from the same viewpoint where you can see a rocky beach which stretches all the way to Port Eynon point.
