Swansea, South Wales

Swansea ,South Wales, is a seaside town found off the M4 motorway, and is a pretty, fresh sort of city that has seen a lot of recent redevelopment investment, especially in the bay areas. It was heavily bombed in WW2 as it was seen as an important port for the transport of local coal and steel for the war machine. However now it is one of the most attractive cities in Wales and is the main route into the tourist areas of the Mumbles , Langland Bay, Caswell Bay, and the bays of the Gower Peninsular.
The shopping centre is popular and has a fine selection of shops, and the Leisure centre was for a time one of the top 10 leisure attractions in the UK, and is currently receiving a total modernisation, and should be ready in 2008, complete with new class leading features and attractions, and should become even more popular than it was before, good, the people of Swansea deserve it after the shamefull political shennanigins surrounding this very popular building.
The roads layout into and out of the city centre have changed for the worse in recent years and the car park situation leaves a lot to be desired , however if you persevere you can still spend an enjoyable few hours shopping in this fine city.
